Investing in future stars
Helping early-career researchers connect, exchange ideas and continue learning is a vital part of growing the next generation.
A Neurological Foundation-supported retreat at Leigh brought together 30 early-career researchers from across New Zealand. The purpose: to lay the foundation for future neurological research that’s inter-disciplinary, collaborative and impactful. Everyone presented their own research and learned how to work effectively across different fields. The workshop was a huge success, with excellent speakers, engaging sessions and very practical advice.
